What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at ProSearch?
$25/hr | Onsite | Day Shift, M-F
Looking to get back into hands-on work or try something new in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment? We’re hiring Installation Techs for a 2-3 month project to help build out systems in commercial trucks. If you’ve worked on cars, done mechanical work, or just like working with tools and figuring things out - this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing parts and systems inside commercial trucks
- Drilling, fastening, and riveting components into place
- Running and connecting wiring
- Using hand and power tools (safely and correctly)
- Following instructions to make sure everything is installed right
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who’s comfortable working with tools and their hands
- Reliable and pays attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and keep work consistent
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and work in tighter spaces when needed
Bonus If You’ve Done This Before:
- Auto tech/mechanic work (even personal projects count)
- Assembly, manufacturing, or vehicle upfitting
- Basic electrical or wiring work
- Drilling, riveting, or general mechanical work
