We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Support Specialist to join our team. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while supporting daily office operations and administrative processes. The Office Support Specialist plays an important role in ensuring a positive customer experience by coordinating communications, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting project-related activities, and assisting team members across departments.
$20-25/hr
M-F, 8am-5pm
Gorham, ME (onsite FT)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through professional, timely, and effective communication.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing questions and providing updates as needed.
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks to support daily operations.
- Monitor project and workflow status, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Create and maintain records, estimates, reports, and other documentation using office software and systems.
- Review and validate documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking, and organizing work in progress.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to support operational goals and customer needs.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Perform additional administrative and office support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service, administrative, office support, or related experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
