Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will deliver hands-on technical assistance and troubleshooting across end-user systems, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure. This role reflects responsibilities commonly associated with a Help Desk Technician, Service Desk Analyst, Desktop Support Technician, and Junior Systems Administrator, making it ideal for candidates seeking advancement into cloud operations, Azure environments, and IT infrastructure roles.
This is a full-time, on-site role offering strong exposure to Microsoft 365, Zendesk, endpoint management, and networking technologies.
Responsibilities
IT Service Desk and Technical Operations
- Manage and resolve IT help desk tickets using Zendesk tools within SLA requirements
- Provide technical assistance as a Service Desk Analyst and Technical Support Specialist
- Perform troubleshooting for desktop, endpoint, and application issues
- Execute user onboarding and offboarding including account provisioning and access management
IT Systems and Infrastructure
- Deliver IT systems services across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
- Assist with infrastructure deployments, system configuration, and environment setup
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and IT operations activities
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and network configuration records
Networking and Cloud Operations
- Troubleshoot networking issues including TCP IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Assist with secure remote connectivity and Zero Trust initiatives
- Manage cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Gain exposure to Azure environments and cloud operations responsibilities
Identity and Endpoint Management
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- Contribute to Azure Active Directory and Entra ID identity management
- Perform endpoint lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune
- Apply role-based access control and least privilege principles
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support jobs, including roles such as Help Desk Technician, Service Desk Analyst, or Desktop Support Technician
- Hands-on experience with Zendesk systems or similar ticketing platforms
- Strong background in technical troubleshooting and issue resolution as an IT Specialist or Technical Support Specialist
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience assisting Windows endpoints and enterprise users
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, or Entra ID
- Exposure to Zero Trust security frameworks or secure access technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and IT operations
- Basic scripting experience such as PowerShell
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
