Position: Punch Press Operator

Location: Catoosa, OK

Pay: $18 to $22/hour

Experience: Previous punch press, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm (Fridays as needed)

ProRecruiters is seeking a Punch Press Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Set up and operate punch press equipment to cut, shape, and form metal components.
• Review work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Load raw materials into the machine and remove completed parts.
• Inspect finished components for accuracy, defects, and proper dimensions.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report mechanical or quality issues.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Assist with other production or metal fabrication duties as needed.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic measurements.
• Experience reading blueprints or production drawings is helpful.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Ability to inspect parts and identify quality issues.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
