Position: Powder Coating Technician

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $20/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Powder Coating Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and/or blasting surfaces
• Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment
• Ensure even coating coverage and proper thickness according to specifications
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and cycle times
• Inspect finished parts for defects, consistency, and overall quality
• Perform touch-ups or rework as needed
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment and work areas
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and coating requirements
• Assist with hanging, racking, and moving parts through the coating process
  
  

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or industrial finishing preferred
• Familiarity with spray equipment and coating techniques
• Basic understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
