Role Overview:
This role architects, designs, configures, and supports SAP BRIM solutions on SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Convergent Invoicing (CI). The consultant will lead requirements workshops, drive end-to-end billing and revenue process design for high-volume and usage-based models, ensure compliance (PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2), and partner with cross-functional teams on integrations, testing, cutover, and documentation.

Role Overview:
This role architects, designs, configures, and supports SAP BRIM solutions on SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Convergent Invoicing (CI). The consultant will lead requirements workshops, drive end-to-end billing and revenue process design for high-volume and usage-based models, ensure compliance (PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2), and partner with cross-functional teams on integrations, testing, cutover, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, implement, and test SAP BRIM and related SAP S/4HANA components, including SOM, CI, SD, MM, and Convergent Charging.
- Lead business workshops to gather requirements and capture processes, features, and user stories.
- Configure and customize SAP BRIM modules to support subscription, billing, invoicing, and revenue management needs.
- Ensure solutions align to PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2 compliance requirements, including secure payment flows and tokenization.
- Coordinate integrations with external systems (examples include CRM platforms, SAP ERP, payment gateways, and mediation systems).
- Support data modeling, mapping, migration, and cutover (including delta loads) for very high data volumes while minimizing downtime.
- Create functional specs, test cases, execute functional testing, and support SIT/UAT, defect triage, and resolution.
- Document designs, configurations, user stories, and tasks (Microsoft ADO noted), and produce complete deliverables per Commission templates.
- Train and mentor junior staff and end users; develop and deliver training materials as needed.
- 7 years hands-on SAP BRIM configuration experience in SOM and CI, including 3 years on SAP S/4HANA hosted in a commercial cloud.
- Experience on at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations (relevant modules).
- Expertise in PCI DSS compliance, tokenization, and secure payment flow design.
- Experience integrating tokenization and payment processing with payment gateways.
- Familiarity with mediation systems for usage capture and rating integrations.
- Experience working with non-SAP CRM systems processing real-time payments.
- SAP S/4HANA BRIM certifications (BR235/240/245/416).
- Utility, transportation, or usage-based subscription renewal BRIM experience.
- Hybrid Agile implementation experience; tools such as Microsoft ADO or JIRA.
- SAP BTP knowledge (event-driven architecture, API management).
- ServiceNow experience for post go-live support.
- Remote until further notice, with onsite work when required at PTC Middletown locations (700 S Eisenhower Blvd or 2850 Turnpike Industrial Dr).
- Expected onsite presence: 1 week per month (per Commission schedule).
- Orientation is onsite for a full day to pick up Commission equipment (equipment will not be shipped).
- Post go-live support may require onsite tours of duty (one to two weeks) during the planned six-month post go-live period.
- Cameras used during virtual meetings; professional appearance expected.
- Must follow Commission policies, onboarding steps, and IT standards; overtime requires prior approval.
