This role supports the Capitol Area Support Team in Harrisburg. The contractor will provide workstation, laptop, and Mac support including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and peripheral support (printing, docking, scanning). The position also focuses on device compliance and health, including tracking down devices with broken SCCM clients, missing updates, or reported application/operating system issues.

Overview

Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor incident queues, take ownership of issues, and assist customers as needed
- Maintain support tickets so they are current, accurate, and well documented
- Provide documentation on issue resolution for other teams when required
- Monitor and report on workstation issues; escalate as needed
- Coordinate with SCCM, Active Directory, Security, and the IT Service Desk teams
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Windows PCs, laptops, and macOS devices
- Install and configure PC hardware and peripherals
- Repair PCs by replacing components such as hard drives, motherboards, and memory
- 3 years deploying PCs and providing end-user support in a large enterprise environment (1,000 PCs)
- 3 years developing, testing, and maintaining PC images
- 3 years supporting PCs in a large domain environment
- 3 years installing and configuring PC hardware and peripherals
- 3 years repairing PCs (hardware replacement, break/fix)
- 3 years supporting security, disk encryption, and anti-virus products across Windows PCs/laptops and macOS
- 3 years Active Directory knowledge including troubleshooting Group Policy Objects and name resolution
- 3 years managing profiles and certificates on Windows and macOS
- 2 years supporting Windows and macOS using remote tools (SCCM Remote, RDP, ARD)
- 2 years supporting Microsoft Office 365 on Windows and macOS
- 1 year integrating Macintosh systems into an Active Directory domain environment
- 2 years scripting with VBScript and PowerShell
- 2 years Configuration Manager (SCCM) console queries and reporting
- 2 years SCCM OSD task sequences, including implementation and optimization
- 2 years' experience with Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack technologies and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
- Microsoft certification
