What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Non CDL - East Orange NJ position at Proper Hospitality Solutions LLC?
WNC Laundry LLC is seeking reliable and experienced Drivers to transport clean and soiled laundry to and from customer locations throughout New Jersey and New York. Drivers will operate company box trucks, load and unload laundry bins, maintain delivery schedules, and provide professional customer service while representing the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate company box trucks (26-foot and larger).
- Deliver and pick up laundry bins from hotels, commercial accounts, and customer locations throughout NJ and NY.
- Load, unload, and transport laundry bins in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed according to schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and route documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Keep vehicles clean and report any maintenance concerns immediately.
- Assist with warehouse or facility duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid US Driver's License required.
- DOT Certification & Physical required prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating 26-foot box trucks or larger.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy laundry bins throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial laundry environment.

Compensation
Pay will be discussed during the interview with the Hiring Manager based on experience and qualifications.
