Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Road Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working in the shop and handling mobile service/road calls. The ideal candidate has strong diesel repair experience, takes initiative, and thrives in both independent and team environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-shop and roadside repairs on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment
- When you are not out on the road, you will be in the shop working on diesels!
- Handle scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service calls
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, emissions systems, and other critical components
- Partner with the service team to ensure quick turnaround and high-quality workmanship
- Rotate on-call schedule for afterhours and weekend support (no tire repairs roadside)
- Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner using shop systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a B-Level Technician (diesel experience required)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, trailers, and related systems
- Road service experience a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Ability to work independently in roadside situations as well as in a shop environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25 – $50/hour depending on experience

Work Environment
- Hours: 7am – 5pm & Rotating On Call
- Weekly Car Count: 100–150
- Shop: 11 bays with full lifts, Hunter alignment rack, advanced scan tools, and shop management software
- Average Technician Hours: 40 per week
