American Holt, a ProMach product brand, is a provider of aftermarket replacement parts for production and processing equipment used in high-throughput manufacturing environments, primarily within the food and beverage industry. The Company operates in a fully outsourced manufacturing model, managing sourcing, inventory, and customer relationships while maintaining strong operational and financial discipline.
We are seeking a high-potential, hands-on Controller to serve as the on-site financial leader of this lean, growth-oriented business. This role offers full ownership of accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, payroll administration, and internal controls. While the organization is lean with no direct reports, the role carries broad responsibility and high visibility.

Financial Leadership & Partnership
- Serve as the on-site financial leader and primary accounting resource
- Partner with the General Manager to assess financial implications of operational decisions
- Support integration and alignment with ProMach reporting requirements
- Provide actionable financial insights to support profitability and growth
Accounting & Reporting Ownership
- Own the monthly close process end-to-end
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Ensure compliance with parent company reporting requirements
- Maintain general ledger integrity and supporting schedules
- Support audit and corporate reporting processes
Inventory & Operational Accounting
- Oversee inventory accounting and valuation within NetSuite
- Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger
- Maintain integrity of item master data and costing
- Analyze gross margins and investigate fluctuations
- Oversee inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
AP, Billing & Cash Management
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and vendor payments
- Oversee customer billing and ensure timely invoicing
- Monitor accounts receivable and support collections
- Assist with cash forecasting and maintain disciplined disbursement controls
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Administer payroll through Insperity
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and benefits administration
- Support payroll and benefits compliance in the absence of a dedicated HR function
Systems & Process Development
- Serve as internal NetSuite subject matter expert
- Strengthen internal controls and process discipline
- Build scalable procedures to support growth
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and efficiency

Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred or in progress)
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience leading month-end close
- Strong NetSuite proficiency required
- Experience in inventory-heavy environments preferred
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean organization
- High accountability and ownership mindset
