Position Overview
Do you thrive on working closely with customers, developing customized solutions, and closing complex capital equipment opportunities? ProMach’s NA Sterilization Group—the leading provider of retort room equipment in North America—is seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will partner with customers to understand their business needs, collaborate with internal engineering and service teams, and deliver best-in-class sterilization solutions.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, sales leads, and prospective end users of packaging and processing equipment
- Expand business within assigned territories by identifying new markets and growing new account sales
- Conduct regular customer visits to support existing accounts and drive new business development
- Plan and manage an efficient territory schedule to ensure effective prospecting and customer coverage
- Deliver technical sales presentations and lead solution-based selling efforts
- Utilize company sales and marketing tools to support presentations, sales calls, and prospecting activities
- Participate in sales strategy development and weekly team meetings
- Research, identify, and qualify new sales leads using company-provided tools and customer data
- Maintain ongoing customer contact related to equipment performance, upgrades, and future needs
- Prepare proposals and quotations in accordance with company standards and guidelines
Who we’re looking for:
- 3 years of successful capital equipment sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to develop, grow, and manage new customer accounts
- Strong prospecting skills with a results-driven mindset
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex equipment solutions
- Self-motivated professional with demonstrated closing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50–75%
