Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel MRI Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team in Omaha, NE. This role involves providing advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of MRI technology and procedures.
- Operate MRI scanners efficiently to acquire detailed images for diagnostic evaluation, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety procedures, including MRI safety protocols and equipment calibration.
- Document procedures accurately using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for efficient image storage and retrieval.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, adhering to patient safety regulations and protocols.
- Support the maintenance of medical equipment, perform routine safety checks, and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to facilitate accurate diagnosis through high-quality imaging.
Qualifications:
- 3yrs of MRI experience operating MRI scanners.
- Must have Level I or II Trauma experience.
- Must be comfortable with high-volume/high-acuity patients.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required.
- Must have experience with implanted devices.
- Experience with general anesthesia cases required.
License & Certificates:
- ARRT MRI Certification
- Nebraska state license not required.
Schedule:
- 1st opening:
- Hours: 40 (4x10s)
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (10am-8:30pm)
- Pay (40 hours) - $3400 gross - 53.85/hr, 80.78/hr OT, 1246 stipend
- On call requirement: 1-2 days/month on days they are not scheduled to work (4am-7pm)
- Start dates: 10/12, 10/19, 10/28, 11/2
2nd opening:
- Hours: 40 (4x10s)
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday (2:30p-1am)
- Pay (40 hours) - $3400 gross - 53.85/hr, 80.78/hr OT, 1246 stipend
- On call requirement: 1-2 days/month on days they are not scheduled to work (4am-7pm)
- Start dates: 10/12, 10/19, 10/28, 11/2
