Manufacturing Technician 2 – Aerospace (2nd Shift)
Location: Oxnard, CA (Onsite)
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication and assembly of mechanical components and larger assemblies
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot prototype units and subassemblies
- Assist engineers with design development, testing, and fabrication processes
- Execute manufacturing operations including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing
- Work with composite materials including bonding, prep, and structural assembly
- Maintain traceability of materials (adhesives, pot life, out-time controls)
- Use measurement tools (calipers, rulers, tape measures) for precision work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and shop instructions
- Collect and analyze data to support process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED 2 years of related experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to read, write, and follow technical instructions in English
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with torque concepts and proper tool usage
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime, flexible hours, and varying shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or composites manufacturing (satellite/space structures preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with cranes, rigging, forklifts, or similar equipment
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, DC power supplies, source meters)
- Strong math skills and ability to interpret shop drawings/blueprints
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a team environment

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
