Summary:
Client support workers provide essential support to clients in a variety of settings, including social service agencies, mental health facilities, and healthcare organizations. They work under the supervision of licensed professionals to assess clients' needs, develop and implement support plans, and provide direct care. Client support workers also play a vital role in educating clients about their rights and resources, and in advocating for their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' needs and develop individualized support plans
- Provide direct care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medication management
- Educate clients about their rights and resources
- Advocate for clients' needs and well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with clients in a support setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
