What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at ProJob Family Of Companies?
We are currently looking to add to our staff. We are open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
We are looking to hire a General Laborer on our third shift, which operates from 2:00 pm
to 10:00 pm with a paid 30-minute lunch. We offer consistent hours, year-round.
What is the job?
The general labor position entails the following: setup furnace loads, breakdown and
pack up parts, lifting up-to 40 lbs., operating a forklift and shot blasting equipment.
General labor also supports all production departments as needed and may need to read
and follow job travelers / routers that detail processing steps for parts and accompany
each job. This job is for an individual that enjoys working with your hands, doesn’t mind
seasonal temperature changes, and is willing to learn new skills. Opportunities for growth
into advanced positions within the company exist with internal training. Our facility is an
industrial environment that is serious about safety.
Experience Required:
Our company is seeking 1 or more years’ industrial experience. If an individual has
demonstrated a history of good attendance and work ethic; we will provide training to
someone without experience. Forklift experience is a plus.
