RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct legal research and collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy
- Work on government (Medicare and Medicaid) and commercial payer audits and investigations
- Work on Medicare and Medicaid fraud investigations by federal and State government agencies
- Create compliance programs for health care providers, suppliers, and managed care plans
- Draft and revise compliance policies and procedures
- Analyze records and transactions related to business disputes and investigations as to potential client claims
- Structure, negotiate, and draft contracts and other business arrangements
- Advise clients on a wide range of compliance and health regulatory matters
- The firm requires a minimum of 1800 billable hours annually
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years’ experience in health care and regulatory and/or compliance
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to NYS bar (or ability to waive in)
- Admission to the New Jersey, Connecticut and/or Massachusetts bar (preferred)
Salary : $145,000 - $185,000
