RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct legal research and collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy
  • Work on government (Medicare and Medicaid) and commercial payer audits and investigations
  • Work on Medicare and Medicaid fraud investigations by federal and State government agencies
  • Create compliance programs for health care providers, suppliers, and managed care plans
  • Draft and revise compliance policies and procedures
  • Analyze records and transactions related to business disputes and investigations as to potential client claims
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft contracts and other business arrangements
  • Advise clients on a wide range of compliance and health regulatory matters
  • The firm requires a minimum of 1800 billable hours annually

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in health care and regulatory and/or compliance
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission to NYS bar (or ability to waive in)
  • Admission to the New Jersey, Connecticut and/or Massachusetts bar (preferred)

Salary : $145,000 - $185,000
