What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Project Recruit?

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting of routine court documents such as Notices of Appearances, Pro Hac Vice Motions, Notices of Motions, Subpoenas, Stipulations and other general court documents.
- Compile and/or draft legal documents for review and use by attorneys such as routine discovery responses and affidavits.
- E-File documents via NYSCEF and PACER.
- Prepares exhibits and other demonstrative evidence.
- Organize, analyze, chart and/or index claim information, documents and/or exhibits for motion practice.
- May assist attorneys in the preparation of materials for witnesses for deposition and/or trial concerning general matters.
- Review documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for disclosure.
- Review, categorize and analyze reports, records, data and discovery responses.
- Capture and record billable time in accordance with policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and KOFAX Professional.
- Working knowledge of Lexis Advance and/or Westlaw
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
