Teacher Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher Aide to support the classroom in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young learners. In this vital role, you will assist with implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing personalized support to students with diverse needs. Position Classification

Non-Exempt / Hourly

Responsibilities

· Assist the Childcare Coordinator with classroom and childcare activities.

· Work with small groups of children during designated activities.

· Assist with meals, snacks, and classroom preparation.

· Ensure childcare areas remain safe, clean, and organized.

· Support school-age activities and program operations.

· Participate in staff meetings and required trainings.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Development preferred.

· Experience working with infants, preschoolers, or school-age children preferred.

· Fingerprint clearance required consistent with applicable law.

· First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

· Mandated Reporter Training required.

· Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.

Schedule Requirements

Flexible schedule including rotating weekends as program needs require.
