TITLE: Teacher Aide
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
Sullivan County BOCES is seeing positive, energetic and reliable Full Time & Substitute Teacher Aides. The successful candidates will work under the general supervision of a certified teacher performing a variety of non-instructional classroom duties such as
- assisting students with their work and helping with classroom management
- providing support and guidance to students in their daily tasks and activities
- help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians. Previous experience in special education a plus.
Qualifications: (A) Graduation from High School or possession of a GED; or two (2) years of experience working with children, or in related activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $16.73 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
