What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Intake Associate position at Project Hospitality?
- Responsible for scheduling free tax prep client appointments, intaking clients, and ensuring they have brought all necessary documents to their free tax prep appointment.
- Assist with data entry in multiple funder databases.
- Work in collaboration with the staff and volunteer tax preparers, quality reviewers, and site supervisors to meet all program goals, ensure the site remains in compliance with all IRS regulations, and promote client satisfaction.
- Assess free tax prep clients other social service needs and connect them to Project Hospitality’s full continuum of care and other external referrals.
Qualifications:- Required to pass IRS VITA/TE certifications for the intake role.
- Passionate about providing extraordinary customer service.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
