What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker/ Driver- Carpenter House position at Project Hospitality?
Work Schedule: Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance of one of our transitional housing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning of the interior of the building includes; vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wax/buffing floors, emptying all garbage, taking care of recycling, cleaning windows, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Snow removal on the property.
- Changing light bulbs, fixing switches and outlets, and other maintenance as required.
- Painting of property as needed.
- Sweeping and keeping the exterior property of the building free of trash, leaves, etc.
- Maintaining and ordering maintenance supply inventory.
- Helping unload deliveries of supplies.
- Delivering packages and mail to other sites when required by the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or related maintenance experience required.
- Clean and valid driver's license required.
- Previous maintenance experience is needed.
- Needs the ability to establish workload priorities.
- Physical ability to perform the essential job functions is needed.
