What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Monitor position at Project Hospitality?
Work Schedule: Full time - Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Summary:
The Family Monitor serves as a monitor as well as on floor security for families staying in the family shelter.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors the presence of family on the floor and compliance with house rules.
- Meets with each family nightly to verify compliance with the days program and attendance of appointments, housing, and social service.
- Facilitates floor meetings and residents council activities.
- Distributes donations, (clothing and household goods) as received.
- Monitors compliance with curfew and babysitting responsibilities.
- Performs intakes on new residents.
- File and record information for caseload assigned to them.
- Respond to client health, mental health, and family emergencies.
- Conduct unit inspections and educate on development of ADL skills.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Requires a HSD/GED.
- Relevant experience and experience with the homeless population preferred.
- Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse caseload.
- Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations.
Salary : $19 - $25
