Position Summary

The Resident Services Director of Operations is responsible for supporting day-to-day Resident Services operations, including financial management, compliance, data systems, policies, and program quality. This role helps manage government funding relationships, ensures contract reporting and compliance requirements are met, leads operational and policy improvements, and oversees data and evaluation strategies. The position leverages expertise in housing programs and data systems to support high-quality permanent, affordable, and supportive housing services for individuals and families.

• What You'll Do

Program and Operational Management
  • Partner with the Senior Director to oversee departmental operations, financial planning, compliance, and strategic growth
  • Ensure program quality, regulatory compliance, and consistent implementation of policies and procedures
  • Lead data management, reporting, and outcome analysis to support decision-making and stakeholder requirements
  • Co-develop departmental goals, work plans, performance dashboards, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage special projects, cross-functional partnerships, and funder reporting to advance organizational priorities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support new housing developments and service expansion

Supervision and Unit Leadership
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, effective team collaboration, and strong cross-departmental partnerships
  • Promote staff development through training, mentoring, and case consultation
  • Supervise and support the Data, Compliance, and Intake team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management

What You Bring
  • Experience providing supervision and talent management
  • Experience with permanent supportive housing models and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Grant and budget management experience
  • Data management experience
  • Experience providing direct services to program participants helpful
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and service networks helpful
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and good driving record

Minimal Technology Requirements:
  • Experience with HMIS, MHIS, Apricot 360 and/or other database systems preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and good driving record

Education/Experience
  • BA/BS degree in social work, human services, management or a related field (additional experience may substitute for education)
  • 7 years' experience in Human Services or other closely related field
