Job Summary
The position is responsible for providing leadership over high quality direct services to families referred for housing services through the Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) partnership. Services include housing transition, placement, and sustaining services. The Manager is responsible for program design and delivery, partnership management, team functions, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee NAZ housing services including program design, staffing and coordination with internal and external partners to assure participants maintain housing
- Provide collaborative leadership over NAZ partnership alongside the PPL Financial and Employment NAZ Program Managers and Program Directors.
- Develop and manage relationships and Memorandums of Understanding with service partners, including Northside Achievement Zone, PPL Property Management team, private landlords, and other partners as required
- Cultivate partnerships with external organizations to expand the services available to Participants to augment services that PPL staff can offer
- Assist the Director with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, fundraising and strategic planning needs of the program
- Represent PPL in the Supportive Housing community.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hire, train and support housing coordinator staff to maintain quality within the program, encourage growth and development
- Support Family Services Team. Identify needs for training and case consultation
- Support staff in supervision of interns and volunteers as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with program design and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Grant and budget and data management experience
- Experience providing strengths-based case management, direct services and developing supportive housing service plans
- Ability to implement services that address mental health, chemical health, and/or co-occurring disorders, developmental and cognitive disabilities, domestic violence, homelessness and re-entry
- Ability to work with and develop partnerships with outside agencies in the community
- Strong knowledge of community resources and service networks
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and insurance
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor degree in social work, human services, education or a related field (additional directly related work experience may substitute for education)
- 5 years of experience working with diverse and formerly homeless populations.
- 5 years’ experience in social work, Human Services or other closely related field

Hours: Full time, Exempt
Salary: $61,000-$64,000/ annually
