Location: Edina - Meetinghouse Church, 6200 Colonial Way, Edina, MN 55436
Schedule: Mondays-Thursdays, 2:20-4:05 p.m. (September-May, aligned with the Edina Public Schools calendar)
Qué Tal is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing after-school Spanish immersion classes and enrichment programs for K-8 students.
The Attendant reports to the Executive Director and plays a key role in supporting safe, smooth daily operations. Primary responsibilities include welcoming students, assisting teachers with the Pikmykid app, supporting classroom needs (including behavior management), coordinating early pickups, following up on unreported absences, and overseeing daily dismissal.
Responsibilities- Greet and receive students as they arrive on four buses.
- Ensure safe, efficient transitions into classrooms.
- Follow up with schools and parents to confirm unreported absences.
- Monitor the Pikmykid app for absences and early pickups; communicate updates to teachers.
- Supervise dismissal, ensuring accuracy in the Pikmykid app and safe release of students.
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for families during arrival and dismissal.
- Support teachers during class time, including with student behavior or other needs.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Experience working with children (especially grades K-5).
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
