Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Laborer Apprentice to join our team! This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in painting and finishing custom cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
– Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and filling holes or cracks.
– Spray large amounts of dovetail drawer boxes
– Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
– Assist with general labor tasks as needed, such as moving materials or cleaning work areas – Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment – Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role
– Familiarity with painting, staining, taping is a plus
– Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
– Ability to read & follow instructions
– Detail-oriented and great communication skills
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
– Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Requirements
– Must be willing to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
– Must have reliable transportation
Pay
$22-$25 per hour (based on experience)
Supplemental bonus (based on performance)
Hours
40 hours a week
M – Th: 6am – 2:30pm
Friday: 6am – 11am
No weekends
