Job Summary:
We are a custom cabinet shop seeking a Cabinet Stainer to join our team. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for applying stain and other finishes to cabinets and cabinet parts. You will work with a variety of materials and tools to achieve high-quality results. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and craftsmanship. This job is very fast paced, requires long periods of standing and moving and you will get dirty. We provide a uniform shirt and protective equipment.
Shop hours are 6am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or lacquers to cabinets and other woodworking projects
- Use airless paint spraying equipment to achieve an even finish
- Utilize power tools such as sanders, brushes, and rollers to complete finishing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or project specifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
