What will you be doing in this role?
- Implement wellness initiatives including incentive-based programs, health education, and health promotions
- Lead and coordinate task force teams for wellness and related projects
- Assess employee wellness needs and develop measurable objectives and targeted program content
- Plan, organize, and promote wellness events such as health fairs, challenges, races, and lunch & learns
- Support additional programs including Early Intervention, Work Conditioning, and Safety initiatives
- Organize and implement new wellness projects and engagement ideas
- Maintain accurate documentation and records using computer technologies
- Partner with local and remote wellness champions and vendors
- Comply with established operational policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion or a related field (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer and web-based programs
- Ability to motivate employees and encourage wellness participation
- Professionalism with employees, leadership, and external partners
- Skills in program building, benchmarking, assessment, and creative initiative development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Energetic, forward-thinking, and collaborative mindset
