What will you be doing in this role?
- Provide direct patient care across primary care, after-hours care, and episodic clinical needs
- Support patient assessments, vital signs, triage, and care coordination
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments within RN scope
- Assist providers with procedures, exams, and diagnostic testing
- Educate patients and families on care plans, chronic conditions, and preventive health
- Document care accurately in the clinic’s EMR
- Support occupational health services as applicable (injury triage, screenings, wellness)
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory guidelines, and organizational protocols
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of practice
- Does not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
- Has never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required
- Experience in primary care, after-hours care, or community health settings
- Strong commitment to culturally respectful care and relationship-building
- Ability to work independently in a clinic environment with varying patient volumes
- Experience working with tribal communities or rural health systems
- Familiarity with social drivers of health and trauma-informed care principles
