What will you be doing in this role?
- Provide collaborative oversight and clinical support to onsite NPs
- Participate in case review, causation determinations, and chart review
- Be available for consultation on patient care and clinical decision-making
- Support clinic protocols, quality initiatives, and occupational health best practices
- Provide onsite patient care as needed based on clinic and client needs
- Engage with both day and night shift providers during onsite coverage days
Schedule & Structure
- Part-time, onsite role
- Consistent weekly presence
- Early-day availability preferred to align with shift overlap
- Exact schedule to be discussed based on provider availability and clinic needs
Our ideal candidate will have:
- An unlimited license to practice medicine along with active prescriptive authority for both legend drugs and controlled substances in the state
- Be able to maintain good standing with a valid United States Drug Enforcement Agency registration number
- Board-Certified in Family Practice, Primary Care, Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or to any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
- Has never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- A healthcare provider must hold a valid and in-good-standing license and/or certification to practice in the State or Country where the facility of employment is located; or be eligible to obtain such a license and have current CPR/AED/BLS certification.
- If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required.
