Are you passionate about driving performance in renewable energy? A leading global energy company is seeking a PV & BESS Engineer to support the optimization of utility-scale assets across the U.S.
This hybrid role based in Chicago offers relocation assistance and the opportunity to collaborate with high-impact teams shaping the future of solar storage.
What You'll Do:
* Support the performance and optimization of PV and BESS assets nationwide
* Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with cross-functional teams
* Analyze inverter voltages and site-level electrical performance
* Act as a liaison with external suppliers and vendors providing on-site services
* Work closely with other PV & BESS Engineers to ensure cohesive execution of asset strategies
* Develop and maintain the main plan for asset optimization activities
* Collaborate with the Optimization team to provide and interpret data, drive actionable insights, and improve system efficiency
What We're Looking For:
* 4-6 years of experience in PV, BESS, or related electrical engineering fields
* Strong understanding of inverter voltage analysis, PV system performance, and battery energy storage systems
* Demonstrated experience working with vendors and coordinating across technical teams
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* A systems-thinking mindset and passion for renewable energy innovation
