We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Foreman/Senior Electricians to lead our commercial electrical projects. This role involves supervising crews, planning and executing work from drawings, and ensuring compliance with NEC and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of commercial electrical experience and at least 2 years in a foreman or lead role, with expertise in installing systems such as switchgear, panelboards, transformers, conduit, lighting, and fire alarms. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to coordinate with other trades and maintain productivity and quality from underground work through final finishes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Leadership & Crew Management
- Supervise, direct, and support journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
- Assign daily tasks, manage manpower, and adjust crew sequencing to meet production goals
- Mentor apprentices and junior electricians; promote accountability and skill development
- Enforce company policies, jobsite rules, and professional conduct
- Support corrective or disciplinary actions, when necessary, in coordination with project leadership
Work Planning & Execution
- Plan and layout work based on drawings, specifications, and field conditions
- Coordinate electrical activities to prevent conflicts with other trades
- Lead daily huddles, stretch-and-flex, and task planning meetings
- Track progress and drive completion of schedule milestones
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to prevent delays or rework
Technical Oversight (Commercial Electrical Systems)
- Oversee installation of commercial electrical systems including:
- EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit
- Switchgear, panelboards, and transformers
- Lighting and lighting control systems
- Fire alarm systems (as applicable)
- Branch circuitry, feeders, grounding, and bonding
- Underground, rough-in, trim, and finish work
- Ensure all installations comply with NEC, project specifications, and quality standards
- Support inspections, testing, punch lists, and final closeout activities
Safety Leadership
- Support Safety Manager to enforce all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety policies
- Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and daily safety briefings
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately
- Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns per company procedures
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the on-site electrical point of contact with GCs, inspectors, and other trades
- Communicate manpower needs, progress updates, and field issues to project leadership
- Coordinate inspections, shutdowns, and critical path activities
- Support RFIs, field clarifications, and as-built documentation
Materials, Tools & Productivity
- Forecast material needs and coordinate deliveries to maintain workflow
- Ensure tools, equipment, and lifts are available and used safely
- Monitor labor productivity and support labor-hour targets
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsite conditions
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete daily reports, timecards, manpower tracking, and progress documentation
- Assist with punch lists, quality control checks, and project closeout
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred)
- 10 years of commercial electrical construction experience
- 2 years experience as a Foreman or Lead Electrician on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC, commercial electrical systems, and jobsite safety
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and schematics
- Experience coordinating with General Contractors and other trade foremen
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated positions
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching
- Repetitive hand movements and strong grip strength
- Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish wire colors and perform detailed electrical work
