Workato Integration Engineer (HRIS / Workday Focus)
We are looking for a hands-on Workato Integration Engineer to design and build integrations across enterprise systems, with a strong focus on HRIS platforms like Workday and other SaaS applications.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop Workato recipes and automation workflows
- Build integrations across systems such as Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and data transformations (JSON/XML)
- Develop and manage custom connectors (if needed)
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Workato (recipes, workflows, automation)
- Experience integrating with:
- Workday (preferred) and/or NetSuite
- Experience with:
- REST / SOAP APIs
- JSON / XML
- Webhooks
- Solid understanding of end-to-end integration workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Workato SDK / custom connectors
- Exposure to tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, or other iPaaS platforms
- Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript / Python)
