Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with experience in data center infrastructure and supply chain operations to lead cross-functional initiatives. This role focuses on delivering large-scale infrastructure, logistics, and hardware deployment projects while ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, and business teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, project execution expertise, and exposure to data center buildouts, hardware lifecycle management, and supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data center and supply chain initiatives
- Define scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional dependencies
- Drive execution using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Track risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Data Center Infrastructure
- Manage projects related to:
- Data center buildouts and expansions
- Rack/stack deployments, server provisioning, and network setup
- Power, cooling, and capacity planning
- Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, and facilities teams
- Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and uptime standards
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Oversee hardware supply chain lifecycle:
- Procurement, vendor management, and sourcing
- Inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Logistics, shipping, and warehouse coordination
- Optimize lead times, cost efficiency, and inventory utilization
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks
Technical Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables
- Facilitate technical discussions, architecture reviews, and planning sessions
- Ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and application layers
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business, technical, and vendor teams
- Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve:
- Deployment efficiency
- Supply chain workflows
- Automation and tooling
- Implement best practices, SOPs, and scalable processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5 years of experience in:
- Technical Project/Program Management
- Data center or infrastructure projects
- Supply chain, logistics, or hardware operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Data center infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)
- Supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, logistics)
- Experience with tools like:
- Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
