Position Purpose

As a member of the therapy team, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans

• Implementing effective, evidence-based therapy interventions

• Supervising and guiding Occupational Therapy Assistants

• Consulting with referral sources, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois under the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act

• AOTA membership or eligibility preferred

• Ability to evaluate and treat a wide range of populations (neonates, pediatrics, young adults, adults, and geriatrics)

• Current CPR certification and other service line–specific competencies

Job Responsibilities

• Perform client-centered evaluations and establish individualized OT treatment plans

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services

• Manage cases through evaluation, treatment, revision, and discharge

• Maintain professional documentation and communication
