Electro Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret cable drawings and specifications.
- Use crimping tools to measure, strip, and cut cables/wires according to drawings.
- Assemble complex cables and sub-assemblies, including connectors, contact pins, and terminal lugs.
- Perform product assembly operations, including installations and component integration.
- Input completed assembly steps into a computer system.
- Work effectively with minimal instruction, following established assembly procedures.
Electro Mechanical Assembler Skills:
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A620 standards - certification required (can be expired)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- 2 years of experience in electronic and/or electromechanical assembly.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and microscopes.
- Comfortable working in an ESD-safe environment (smocks, grounding straps, etc.).
- Capable of lifting 25–30 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship required
Electro Mechanical Assembler Desired Skills
- Experience in cable assembly manufacturing, including RF coax and fiber optic cables.
- 3 years of electronic and/or electromechanical assembly experience.
