PPG Staffing is seeking two Area Superintendents to support data center construction with an established general contractor.
These positions are ideal for construction leaders who can take ownership of an assigned area, coordinate multiple trades, and keep work moving safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations within an assigned construction area.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, and field personnel to meet project milestones.
- Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to plan upcoming work and identify potential conflicts.
- Coordinate structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities.
- Lead field coordination meetings and communicate priorities, progress, and constraints.
- Monitor safety, workmanship, inspections, and compliance with project requirements.
- Resolve field issues with project management, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
- Support punch lists, commissioning readiness, and project turnover.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and track field progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Superintendent or Area Superintendent on complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Data center construction experience strongly preferred.
- Semiconductor, substation, or other mission-critical facility experience is also valuable.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing competing field priorities.
- Clear communication, practical problem-solving skills, and accountability for results.
- Availability to work on-site in Chandler, Arizona.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
