A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent based out of Anchorage, AK. This role is responsible for managing field personnel and subcontractors on active construction projects. The ideal candidate can lead projects or major scopes of work and drive field execution from start to finish.

Position Details
- Location: Anchorage, AK
- Level: Mid to Senior
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 DOE company truck

Key Responsibilities
Safety
- Lead and enforce project safety culture and standards
- Conduct safety walks and ensure hazard analyses are in place
- Mentor field staff on safety protocols
Quality Control
- Ensure work aligns with contract documents and specifications
- Maintain inspection records, testing logs, and project documentation
- Participate in coordination and preconstruction meetings
Scheduling
- Assist with development and tracking of project schedules
- Coordinate weekly schedule updates and field execution
Project Administration & Cost Control
- Maintain as-built documentation
- Monitor budgets, production rates, and cost impacts
- Assist with cost tracking, coding, and minor field purchasing
Procurement & Coordination
- Coordinate long-lead material procurement
- Communicate material and purchasing needs with internal teams
Field Execution
- Oversee daily site operations and subcontractors
- Manage logistics, site access, and material storage
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
- Assist with RFIs and problem resolution
Contract Compliance
- Ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and contract requirements
- Report changes in site conditions
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience on commercial, civil, or federal projects
- Ability to lead projects or major scopes of work
- OSHA 30 certification required
- CQM certification preferred
Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
