As the Team Leader at Prodrive Technologies, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing production team within a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will drive operational excellence in PCBA assembly and test processes, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency across diverse industries such as medical and industrial applications.
In this role, you will combine hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, working closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to continuously improve processes and scale production capabilities in line with business growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of technicians within each PCBA production department
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency
- Act as a point of contact between production, engineering and operations teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness
- Monitor production performance through KPIs and take proactive measures to address deviations
- Ensure proper planning, staffing, training, and resource allocation to meet production demands
- Foster a strong culture of ownership, teamwork, safety, and quality on the production floor
- Identify and implement process improvements, tooling, and automation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external quality requirements (e.g., IPC standards, 5S)

- High school diploma or equivalent technical or associate degree preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership or team lead role within a production environment
- Strong people management, coaching, and motivational skills
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to solve urgent problems on the production floor
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with production KPIs and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)
- Flexibility to support production needs
- Authorized to work in the US
- 3 years of experience in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environment
- Familiarity with automated assembly lines
- Highly competent in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI)
- Experience with ERP/MES systems
- Knowledge of IPC standards and high-reliability electronics manufacturing
- Experience supporting and scaling production
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
