Job Title: Imaging Scan Operator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Mail Services
Reports to: Imaging/Scanning Team Lead
Proctor Loan Protector does not sponsor any type of work visa’s or STEM programs.
Summary:
Imaging Scan Operator performs all duties required to convert insurance documents from hard copy to optical image. Emphasis is on accuracy and quality of images; requires attention to detail and knowledge of procedures.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Operating Opex Software
- Basic Knowledge of the OCR Software
- Identifying and sorting clients
- Recognizing insurance documents
- Sorting non-critical documents for destruction
- Printing required insurance documents for prep and scan.
- Perform other duties when supervisor requests.
- Perform basic maintenance functions on scanners (clean, vacuum, etc.)
Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and work in a fast paced environment.
- Customer service orientated.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (approximately 25 to 35 lbs.).
- Perform various data entry functions as needed.
- Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PFI standards.
Qualifications:

Required
- Document Scanning experience preferred.
- Mortgage servicing and insurance experience a plus.
- Utilize Opex scanner hardware and AnyDoc software.
- Minimum education required.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred
- High School Diploma
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
- Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for Opex equipment 8 for hours per day.
- Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
- Ability to sit/stand at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
- Sedentary position
- Repetitive motion
- Ability to bend/ lift/transport/retrieve items between areas in the building weighing up to approximately 25-35 pounds independently.
- Worker not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Pay Ranges:
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
