2026-27 World Language Department Head
World Language Department Head
The World Language Department seeks its next Department Head to steward the World Language department while teaching three sections of Spanish for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to implement and continue the development of a strong curriculum based on Acquisition Driven Instruction; attend Department Head meetings; lead all World Language department meetings; collaborate with the Dean of Faculty with hiring, coaching and professional development of World Language faculty; and fulfill other standard clerical duties that are generally associated with teaching and leading an academic department. Flexibility, energy, creativity, and fluency in Spanish are required. The position includes coaching and other boarding school responsibilities.
