Job Description:
The Technical Lead (Identity and Biometric Solutions) will serve as the primary technical authority for complex Identity and Biometric solution projects. This role involves providing technical leadership across design, implementation, and deployment, working closely with engineering teams, project leadership, and customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical authority for engineering contributions to bids and proposals
- Develop Design Validation Architecture (DVa) documentation
- Translate customer needs into functional specifications and solution-level requirements
- Lead customer workshops to clarify requirements and convert them into technical specifications
- Organize and lead technical meetings and peer reviews with key stakeholders
- Track progress and drive execution of engineering activities
- Coordinate technical work packages to ensure smooth system integration
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of software engineering experience with strong knowledge of engineering processes
- Demonstrated engineering leadership experience
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to collaborate on complex system designs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and leading stakeholder workshops
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Knowledge of Java & .Net
- Experience with API and databases
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance
