AI Solutions Architect / AI Engineering Advisor:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for an AI Solutions Architect / AI Engineering Advisor for a contract role. This position is a remote position with occasional travel to our client’s Baltimore, Maryland office.
Job Description:
Procom is seeking an AI Solutions Architect / AI Engineering Advisor to design and guide the implementation of Generative AI and advanced analytics solutions on AWS. This role will involve working closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify use cases, define architectures, and drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Generative AI architectures using Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge management solutions
- Advise stakeholders on AI strategy, governance, and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend foundation models and AI tooling
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy scalable AI applications
- Support AI security, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives
- Create technical documentation and executive presentations
- Lead architecture workshops and discovery sessions
- 5 years of cloud architecture, AI/ML, or software engineering experience
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, foundation models, and Generative AI
- Understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases
- Strong AWS architecture and consulting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- AWS Solutions Architect certification
This is a 12-month contract position.
