On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Mid-Level for an 18-month role. This position is a remote position near a Schwab Hub, with preference for candidates near Lone Tree, Austin, or Dallas.
Business Analyst - Mid-Level - Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide Business Analyst expertise to support business objectives and ensure quality assurance for assigned projects. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into user stories, and monitoring project progress while aligning technical improvements with business objectives.
Business Analyst - Mid-Level - Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring their needs are prioritized and incorporated into the delivery process
- Monitor project development and report progress to project managers and leadership
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Be available to stakeholders to answer questions, gather feedback, and manage expectations
- Monitor sprint and initiative progress, communicating status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
- Support the roadmap, aligning upcoming features and technical improvements with business objectives
- Business Analyst/Product Owner experience
- Agile environment experience
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into user stories
- Stakeholder and technical team collaboration
- RAID tracking and risk/issue/dependency management
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Advanced Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Office Products
- Rally experience
- Experience in finance, mutual funds, and/or operations
- Brokerage platform experience
- Experience supporting roadmaps
- Journey mapping based on SME interviews and operational process understanding
