Duties
- Operate packaging machinery equipped with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless production flow.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance throughout shifts, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow all FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain product safety and compliance.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform preventive maintenance.
- Assist with the assembly of packaging components and materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure fit.
- Use forklift and warehouse experience to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies efficiently within the facility.
Experience
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or packaging machinery preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for adjustments and repairs.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing equipment.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and industry best practices for pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus for handling materials safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
