Local Fastener Distributor is looking for a Small Machine Operator in Burton, MI

***This is a 2nd shift position. Pay starts at $14.00 with a $.50 shift premium.
Job Description:
Pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials.
Uses small machine to help pack/package a wide variety of products and materials.
Tasks:
- Assemble, line and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools
- Clean containers, materials, supplies or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools
- Examine and inspect containers, materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Mark and label container, container tags or products using marking tools
- Obtain, move and sort product, materials, containers and orders using hand tools
- Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records
- Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools ➢ All other duties as assigned by supervision
