POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Regional Manager will coordinate day-to-day sales activities with their assigned Regional Sales Managers and outside Sales Reps including full-cycle management of RFQ/Proposals and Sales Orders.
This position is designed as a developmental role with the potential to advance into a future Regional-level position. Candidates should be open to future relocation opportunities and committed to long-term career growth within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
• Responsible for day-to-day communication with our sales network (Regional Sales Manager’s (RSM) and Reps), end users, and Product Managers and Estimators to help facilitate the full-cycle order process (RFQ, Proposals, and Orders).
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the RFQ/Proposal process (for assigned RSM’s and Reps) to include receiving and reviewing RFQ’s, ensuring that the customer needs and delivery requirements are properly identified.
• Coordinate with estimators and product managers for preparation of estimates, collecting competitive information from RSM’s and Sales Reps, finalizing pricing based on input from appropriate parties, and ensuring that comprehensive proposals are delivered to the customer in a timely manner.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the Sales Order process (for assigned RSM’s and Reps) to include receiving and reviewing customer Purchase Orders, entering Sales Orders in the ERP system and ensuring that the customer needs and delivery requirements are properly documented, and monitoring open Sales Orders to ensure timely delivery of product and services to the customer.
• Inside support for RSM, Customer Service management.
• Follow up on open proposals with customers.
• Attend weekly field service and production meetings to support territorial needs.
• Coordinate customer visits and identify scope of the visit (witness fan balancing, full audit, QC Inspection, etc.).
• Review quarterly sales reports for RSM and Sales Reps. These reports will be reviewed with the RSM and VP of Sales.
• Assist in the development of a yearly sales budget for RSM and Sales Reps.
• Participate in the Regional Sales Manager meetings.
• Must be willing and able to travel within the assigned territory using various modes of transportation, including air travel and personal vehicle, as needed to fulfill job responsibilities. Up to 50% of travel required.
• Must be able to successfully comply with customer site requirements, including participation in random drug and alcohol screening programs as required.

Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:

• Will be working at times in covered environment or in an outside environment.
• The ARM will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Particles.
