Industrial Fan Balancer - 2nd Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Fan Balancer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for balancing industrial fans to precise specifications, performing minor repairs when needed, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Responsibilities & Expectations

Balance industrial fans to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
Welding and burning
Perform minor repairs and adjustments to fans as needed to ensure proper operation.
Inspect completed fans to verify balance, performance, and quality requirements are met.
Operate, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on balancing equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Assist other departments and support production needs as required.
Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently while meeting production schedules.
Promote a positive team environment and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
Ability to safely perform all essential job functions.

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, rotating equipment, or vibration analysis.
Familiarity with industrial fans, blowers, and related systems.
Proficiency with balancing and vibration analysis tools (e.g., CSI, Pruftechnik, or equivalent).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
