Role Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor position is part of the Operations Team. This is a full-time, exempt position, located in our Mentor, Ohio office. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Including, but not limited to these functionalities:
The compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 annually.

Role Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor position is part of the Operations Team. This is a full-time, exempt position, located in our Mentor, Ohio office. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Including, but not limited to these functionalities:
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment, ensuring team members follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate pertinent and relevant production issues to other supervision and management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of machines and machine shop operations
- Mastercam experience
- CNC manufacturing experience
- Proven ability to program at the machine utilizing G&M Code Programing
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the machine shop and provide technical assistance to machinists when needed.
- Drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving team members in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work.
- Implement and manage departmental goals to assist in reaching company goals.
- Serve as liaison between department and management.
- Ensure area housekeeping is up to expectations.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Attend and participate in production meetings.
- Schedule overtime according to production and business needs.
- All other duties assigned.
- Other essential duties as assigned.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience of programming machines utilizing G&M Code Programming
- 3-5 years’ experience of prior supervisory experience
- CNC Lathes experience or related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of machining and machine shop operations
- Mastercam experience
- CNC Lathes manufacturing experience
- Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on-site.
