Responsibilities
The Operations Manager is part of the Operations Team. This is a full-time, exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following)
- Lead a zero-incident culture and make safety a top priority.
- Supervise and lead production supervisors and team leaders for product lines within your responsibilities.
- Direct priorities for the team to achieve Delivery Goals.
- Accountable for driving Lean initiatives throughout the organization to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
- Own Cost of Non-conformance (CONC) Metrics and overall Quality Performance for your value stream.
- Responsible for supervisor, team leaders, and production workers training, development, and evaluations. Interviews, hires, and monitors the performance of team members; reviews and evaluates their needs and potential; develop appropriate cross-training and other development programs. Review and approve the performance and merit increase proposals for all assigned team members.
- Establishes goals and metrics for the team, set and drive performance ownership and assess performance. Make adjustments as necessary to ensure the team is meeting its goals.
- Own the overall cost of the Value Stream.
- Set the tone for improvement including idea generation and participation in Site CI initiatives.
- Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members.
- Provide the vision and strategy.
- Lead by example, be a positive role model.
- Actively engage and recognize team members.
- Empower team members, provide resources and remove barriers.
- Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)

- UKG
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in operations or operations support
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership, coaching and influence management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
